What a Week!

Well it all started with my dentist appt. on Monday. I have my very first cavity. I guess I really can't complain since I managed 29 years before I got one. Josh (not sure who that is, see a few posts down) came down with strep throat and bronchitis on Wednesday, which also happened to be mine and Brad's 11th anniversary. He missed school Wed., Thurs., and Fri. and is just now getting back to speed. Thursday me and Brad had a doctor's appt. They took some blood to check my iron levels and to test my thyroid. He said he could tell by looking at me that my iron was a little low. And remember I've been on 2 iron pills a day since Carley was born. He scheduled Brad an appt. with a surgeon to fix a hernia he has had for a while now. Jacob woke up yesterday with a fever of 102. I called our doctor and he was at the local hospital doing rounds, so told us to come up there. They did a strep test and a flu test, both of which came back negative. He finally concluded that the only thing left to be wrong with him is some sort of viral thing. He is still running a fever today and now has added a cough to that about 30 minutes ago! Carley has also developed a croupy cough over the last few hours, so who knows! Just please keep my poor little sickly family in your prayers, we seem to be needing it right now!

A Day in the Life....

Just wanted to let everyone know that things are still as crazy as ever. Josh is still doing well and we have still managed to steer clear of any major problems. They(Josh, Brad, and people from church) have been working the last couple of weekends to get his bathroom added on, so that seems to be a work in progress. School is still school and Jacob and Carley are still as wild as ever! The weather here has been CRAZY!!! It was near 80 for an entire week, then ice storm on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 20's, and now back to 70. When we moved here someone told us if we didn't like the weather to give it a day or two and it would change, I didn't know they meant literally!!! I hope this finds everyone well and we miss you all terribly!
