A Sad Week

This has definitely been a bad week emotional. On Tuesday I found out that a fellow student from MSOP (the preaching school that we attended), had made the tragic decision to end his own life. I had such a hard time with this because us being a preaching family it just hit so close to home. I kept trying to think how that could so easily be Brad. Then yesterday I got the tragic news that a fellow classmate of mine was killed in a car crash. This was a guy that I started kindergarten with and went all the way until 12th grade. He was married to Brad's 3rd cousin and had 2 young sons. I had such a hard time sleeping last night because once again I thought about how my life could be changed in a moment if something happened to Brad. Take the time today to stop and Thank God for every day he gives you with the ones you love. You never know when everything will change!

To the families of John Gondos and David Norwood, we love you and you will be in our prayers!

Bye, Bye Monkeys...

OK I was starting to get a little tired of the monkeys hanging around, so I decided to go for something a little more "ME". Let me know what you think.

12 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!

As many of you already know, me and Brad celebrated our 12 year anniversary last Thursday. It is so hard to believe that we have been married for 12 years! To celebrate our big day we decided to splurge a little (well maybe a lot) and spend the night at the Opryland Hotel. MawMaw and PawPaw came up to spend the night with the kids and we went Friday night. It was awesome. It is so nice to get away from being "Mommy and Daddy" for a little while and just be a couple. I am so thankful to be close to family again you just don't even know!

Now onto this weeks events! I have conferences today with both Jacob and Carley's teachers, just to try to see where we are standing. I need to make the valentine cards for both the kids school parties. I have a baby shower gift to make by Saturday. And to top it all off, me and Brad are finally starting our diet!(that needs a major prayer)
